Live Virtual Kick-Off Training

Our team will work closely with yours to ensure that all teachers have the training they need to effectively use CommonLit’s digital program. In particular, we offer trainings on best practices for using CommonLit’s digital library, which includes over 2,500 reading lessons for grades 3–12. We also offer training on CommonLit’s new comprehensive curriculum, CommonLit 360 for grades 6–10.

Teachers will leave these trainings feeling extremely confident in their ability to navigate CommonLit’s digital resources, lesson planning materials, accessibility tools for students, data tracking tools, and more.

CommonLit Professional Development Portal

This on-demand training library includes over 25 trainings that focus on best practices for using CommonLit’s digital library and 360 Curriculum. The portal includes a wide range of training resources; teachers new to CommonLit may begin to check out trainings that teach the basics of customizing, assigning, and grading digital lessons from the CommonLit library. Teachers who are already confident in their usage of the program may choose to dive deeply into trainings on the CommonLit 360 Curriculum. These trainings focus on best practices for reading, writing, vocabulary and discussion lessons within the curriculum.

Each module can be facilitated by an instructional leader for a group of educators or be completed individually. Modules include helpful tips for navigating CommonLit.org, real-life classroom examples, and application tasks that are designed to put learning into practice.

Customized Onboarding Experience

With Clever (or Google Classroom), roster management is made easy. We will work with your team to choose the best rostering solution for your teachers and students. Students can quickly log in to CommonLit via Single Sign-On and teachers can focus on instruction (instead of resetting student passwords).

During the school year, your team will also have access to a dedicated account manager from CommonLit’s District Success team and teachers will receive an answer to all technical questions within one business day.
